Tottenham has reached an agreement with the German side Schalke to bring forward the signing of Lewis Holtby. The midfielder had originally agreed to come to White Hart Lane in the summer but the clubs have now decided the transfer will take place immediately.
Tottenham have agreed to sign the German international Lewis Holtby from the Bundesliga side Schalke, subject to a medical. However, he won't move to White Hart Lane until July.
Holtby, who has an English father, has three caps for the German senior side.
Arsenal face their toughest Champions League match so far tonight, away to the German side Schalke. The Gunners are currently in second place in Group B after they lost to Schalke in London a fortnight ago.
