Emergency engineering work to be carried out overnight

A good service is operating on the majority of routes across South West Trains network, the company say, however trains are running on an amended timetable on suburban lines due to a signalling problem at Waterloo.

As a result, trains are not currently able to use platforms 1 and 2 at the station, affecting services to and from Epsom/Dorking and Hampton Court.

However, there remains a good service on all other routes.

Emergency engineering work will be carried out overnight to repair the signalling fault. As a result, passengers are advised that an amended timetable will remain in place for the rest of the day.
