Olympics get extra £19m for "crowd control"
The Government has allocated an extra £19m to help improve crowd control and public information for the London 2012 Games. The Olympics Minister Hugh Robertson said the size of the crowds at the Diamond Jubilee helped them realise more crowd management measures such as extra stewards were needed.
