It's the fifth film in the series, and also starts British actor Simon Pegg.
Pegg and Cruise will both attend the screening, along with leading lady Rebecca Ferguson and director Christopher McQuarrie.
The stars will be out in force at the BFI this evening, ahead of the film's release on 31 July.
Tom Cruise is in London this weekend and has been shooting scenes for his new movie, All You Need Is Kill.
The film crew cordoned off Trafalgar Square for the scenes and had shipped in a number of large tanks, suggesting that they were filming for an action scene.
Tom Cruise will be going walkabout in Leicester Square on Sunday evening at the premiere of his new movie Rock Of Ages. The film is based on the hit theatre show about a young girl who moves to LA to fulfil her dreams. Stars expected on the red carpet include Russell Brand and Mary J Blige.
