Olympic bonus for Woolwich ferry workers
Woolwich ferry workers have secured an Olympic award of at least £400.
Staff on the free boat service across the River Thames will also receive enhanced overtime payments.

Once again, workers had to fight hard to get their contribution and work recognised. We are pleased that workers have secured a fair award for their extra work over the Olympics.

Woolwich ferry is down to a one boat service again this morning because of ongoing technical problems. Staff hope to resume with two boats at 9am.
