Woman found dead after an explosion in Guildford
Police are investigating the cause of an explosion at an apartment block in Guildford which left a woman dead and a man with life-threatening injuries.
A fire broke out at the block of flats in Onslow Street shortly before 5.30pm last night following reports of a loud blast.
The woman has yet to be formally identified and inquiries are being made to trace her next of kin. The man's being treated at Royal County Surrey Hospital.
