Symieon Robinson Pierre was remanded into custody after being charged with allowing his dog to attack five police officers in Newham yesterday. He appeared at Thames Magistrates Court. The prosecutor said two of the officers will need skin grafts and plastic surgery.

The 34-year-old from Coulsdon in Surrey died during the private party in Headley in the early hours of Monday, Surrey Police said.
