Singers who want to take part in this year's X Factor have until May 8th to audition via Facebook.
Producers of the hit ITV show announced today that contestants who missed out on the open auditions in six cities can apply by recording a video and uploading it via the X Factor Facebook page.

This year, for the first time, The X Factor is accepting entries from both professionals and amateurs.
Previous winners include Londoners Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke.
