Man abducted
Police are appealing for information after a man was apparently abducted in Waltham Forest this afternoon.
Officers were called to Bunyan Road in Walthamstow after reports that a man had been assaulted and bundled into a car.
The car, thought to be a silver mercedes, was then driven along Queen Elizabeth Road.
Officers from Waltham Forest conducted a search of the area and carried out local house-to-house enquiries. Detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command (HSCC) in Barking are now investigating.
