Police officer dies
A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been found with gunshot wounds at North Woolwich police station.
The officer, who hasn't been formally identified, was found on Sunday May 13th at around 2:30pm.
The officer was of police constable rank, working within the Aviation Security Command at London City Airport.
A report is being prepared for the coroner by officers from the Directorate of Professional Standards.
Next of kin have been informed.
