Stansted airport is to be hit by seven days of strike action, including stoppages over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend.
Members of the GMB union, who work for ground service company Swissport, will walk out for the first time this Wednesday in a 24 hour strike starting at 5:30am.
There will be further walk-outs from 5:30am on Saturday until 5.30am on Monday May 28 and from 5.30am on Saturday June 2 until 5.30am on Wednesday June 6.
The GMB suspended threatened strike action earlier this year over the introduction of new rosters after the company agreed to enter talks. The discussions broke down last Friday.
Pageant spectators complained at the level of service provided by major rail companies. Many of them took to Twitter to vent their anger.
Londoners are being warned that central London will be extremely busy throughout the Diamond Jubilee weekend.
