The British Olympic Association have backed the selection of Londoner Lutalo Muhammad in the Olympic taekwondo team after it rejected the latest appeal from his rival Aaron Cook. Cook is ranked world number 1 in the under-80 kg category but was left out by the GB Taekwondo selectors.
The BOA ruled there was not enough evidence that the selection process was flawed and have told Cook he cannot appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport as it is not the "correct forum". However, Cook could still take his case to the High Court.
