Pop star and former Big Brother contestant Dane Bowers is to stand trial later this year accused of racially-aggravated assault.
The 32-year-old denied two counts of assault on separate victims and one of harassment - all allegedly racially aggravated - at Norwich Crown Court after an incident while he was at a stag party. Bowers, of Ambercroft Way, Coulsdon, Surrey, was told he will face trial by jury on November 21st.
The alleged incident took place in Norwich's Prince of Wales Road nightclub district at 5am on June 2nd. It is thought Bowers had been on a night out with friends. The singer, now a DJ, became famous with boy band Another Level in the 1990s. He appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2010.
