Appeal for witnesses after indecent exposure in Hatfield

Police are appealing to members of the public after an indecent exposure took place in Hatfield.

The incident occurred on Sunday 23rd September, between the times of 5pm and 5.15pm on the 301 Arriva single decker bus.

The offender moved seats next to a woman, with the aisle separating them.

The offender then proceeded to expose himself to the victim.

The offender is described as a white man in his 30s, with dark hair, thin build wearing a beige coat with toggles.

The coat had a hood which was up at the time of the offence.

I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident and saw the offender before and after the incident.

We believe there were two men sitting a few seats in front of the offender who may be able to assist in the investigation.

I am also appealing to anyone who may have been with the offender when he got on the bus and anyone who saw him get off the bus.

Anyone with information, please contact the Herts Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the crime reference number B2/12/3325. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
