The AA is calling on the Highways Agency to cancel its planned one third increase in the cost of using the Dartford Crossing.

The price for car drivers is due to go up to two pounds on Sunday. Larger vehicles will have to pay five pounds. The AA also says the money being spent on a new camera charging system - revealed to be costing 500 million pounds - should be used instead to build a new crossing.
