New Mayor celebrations begin
Celebrations begin today to mark the beginning of term of office for the new Lord Mayor of the city of London.
Alderman Roger Gifford will be sworn is as the 685th Lord Mayor of London.
This will be the last major festival of 2012 for the capital with an annual procession that dates back almost 800 years.
