Teenager jailed after Hackney shoot out

A 16-year-old boy has been jailed for 8 years for his involvement in a shooting in Hackney on January 31.

CCTV footage identified that a "shoot out" had occurred between a man - later identified as Addy - and two males on bikes in the Pembury Estate in the morning.

Officers say 3 cars were damaged by several stray bullets. Another bullet smashed a window and lodged in the bedroom wall of a nearby property.

Miles Thomas Addy previously pleaded guilty at Snaresbrook Crown Court to possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life.
