Queen tours riding school

The Queen has visited a barracks in Windsor, during which she gave some encouragement to a young trooper who's only just learning to ride. 19-year-old Thomas Ephgrave, from Leatherhead in Surrey has only been riding for four weeks, after joining the Army in March.

The Queen asked him about his horse, which is named Elizabeth after her and is often ridden by the Princess Royal at the Queen's Birthday Parade in June each year.
