London and the South East woke up to snow today - and pretty soon the transport chaos began.
Flights were disrupted at Luton and Stansted's runway was closed; rail commuters on overground services and on the tube were delayed because of ice; and on the roads, the AA had thousands of call outs - the 'bulk' of which were in Essex.

South West Trains has offered to refund customers, after today's wintry weather caused major delays on the railways.
