Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses after the death of a man following a road traffic collision in east London. Police believe they know the identity of the cyclist who died and inquiries are underway to trace his next of kin.
Police say the driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He remains in custody at an east London police station.
