The multi-award winning arena show Walking with Dinosaurs is back with its cast of prehistoric giants at the O2 Arena from Wednesday 26th December 2012 before touring nationwide.
This production, based on the BAFTA award winning BBC television series, merges scientific accuracy, high-tech animatronic puppetry, and almost cinematic realism to help children appreciate these colossal creatures.
It features 20 life-size dinosaurs and 10 different species, including the T Rex, Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus.
Audiences will learn how they evolved during their 200 million year domination of life on earth and find out about the huge climatic and tectonic changes that took place.
Oceans form, volcanoes erupt, a forest catches fire - all leading to the impact of the massive comet, which struck the earth, and forced their extinction.
Walking with Dinosaurs kicks off in London's The O2 arena, where it runs from Wednesday 26th December 2012 to 6th Jan 2013, and then goes on a nationwide arena tour.
The £12.5 million arena spectacle, which has been seen by more than seven million people in 206 cities across the world, is directed by Scott Faris.
Walking with Dinosaurs the Arena Spectacular has been Ranked No.4 in Pollstars Top 100 Worldwide Tours, the show's global success is credited to the pioneering work of its long-serving production team, who bring to life the 20 to-scale dinosaurs night after night.
