Companies predict Olympics legacy

Most firms believe they will benefit from an economic legacy following the London 2012 Olympics. A survey of 600 large private and public sector organisations by BT showed that four out of five predicted a post-Olympic boost this year, with almost a third hoping it would last at least five years.

Some firms said revenue increased by an average of 14% last year as a direct result of the Games. Chief executive of BT Group Ian Livingston said: "We learned a huge amount from delivering the most connected Games ever and we are now sharing that experience with our customers across the globe''
