CCTV footage has been released by the judge in the murder trial of Tony McCluskie. The first clip sees the defendant dragging a bag and putting it into the back of his car. The second clip, which is much less distinct, shows a figure dragging something alongside the Regent's Canal.
Tony McCluskie is accused of killing his sister, former EastEnders actress Gemma McCluskie. He told a court today he had no recollection of killing her or dismembering her and dumping the body in a canal.
Tony McCluskie said the last thing he remembered was grabbing his sister's wrists as she wielded a knife at him and threatened to stab him on March 1 last year.
The 35-year-old admits killing Miss McCluskie but denies murder, saying he has no recollection of what happened after he grabbed her.
Miss McCluskie's torso was found in a suitcase in the Regent's Canal in east London, followed by her limbs in plastic bags. Her head was found six months later.
