Pensioners urged to check benefits

Thousands of London's pensioners could be missing out on nearly two thousand pounds a year, because they are not claiming benefits they are entitled to.

The Mayor is urging the capital's older residents, and their relatives, to check if they are missing out. Liz Wickham reports.

Pensioners miss out on benefits

174,000 pensioners in London are missing out on an extra £35 a week, or £1,800 a year in benefits, according to the Mayor's office.
