Charlton fans help game to go ahead
Charlton are confident their game against Sheffield Wednesday will go ahead on Saturday after fans volunteered to help clear the snow from the pitch. Around 20 supporters turned up today at The Valley and cleared the pitch with shovels.
Groundsman Colin Powell said: "We're a unique club. We moved away from here for 5 years and the fans got us back so you expect them to come down now and they're brilliant."
