Selfridges have said they do not believe they have committed any offence after the Food Standards Agency decided to prosecute them for installing raw milk vending machines in their Oxford Street store. Sales of raw milk are strictly controlled because of hygenie concerns.
"We do not believe that we have committed anyoffence. As this matter is subject to legal proceedings we are unable tocomment further at this stage."
