Reward offered 15 year's after doorman's disappearance

The Metropolitan Police are offering a £20 000 reward for information over the disappearance of a doorman 15 year's ago.

Jimmy Harmon was last seen at 3pm on Saturday, 24 January, 1998 , when he visited his girlfriend's house in Romford.

While he was there he received a call on his mobile phone, which prompted him to leave, saying that he had to go and see a friend in the Rainham area. He never returned.

He left in his distinctive silver Mercedes which had lowered suspension and a loud music system

The car was found abandoned in Bexley Gardens off Barley Lane, near to King George's Hospital in Goodmayes.

Police inquiries suggest that the car had been there since the day Jimmy went missing.

His body has never been been found and police are treating his disappearance as murder.
