Policeman arrested by officers investigating corruption

A man has been arrested by Police investigating payments to public officials by journalists.

The man, who is a serving officer in the Specialist Crime and Operations Command in the Metrpolitan Police, was arrested at his home in the Borough of Barnet on suspicion of misconduct in a public office.

He was interviewed at a north London police station and is now bailed to return in late April.
