London rail bosses on salaries over £100,000

Rail bosses are getting six figure salaries at the same time that passengers are experiencing above inflation fare rises according to the latest figures from Transport for London.

Tfl's annual report showed that 30 bosses of the £14.8 billion Crossrail project were on salaries of more than £100,000. These included the chief executive Andrew Wolstenholme, who was on £380,000 when he started his present job in 2011.

The report also revealed a total of 223 Tfl staff were on salaries of more than £100,000, including Boris Johnson's current aviation advisor Daniel Moylan who is a former Tfl deputy chairman.
