Problems persist at Purley

An electrical fault at Purley in south London that was first discovered on Sunday has continued to plague passengers on key routes out of London's Victoria and London Bridge stations.

The Gatwick Express was reduced to a half-hourly service and there was also a reduced service between Merstham and Coulsdon South, as well as delays to other services in the area.

Services out of Victoria and also from Blackfriars station were affected by delays due to a vehicle striking a bridge at Shortlands in south east London.
