Cricketer 'had alcohol and cocaine in his body'

The forensic pathologist at the inquest of Tom Maynard has said there was a smell of alcohol on the county cricketer's body.

The Surrey batsman was found to have almost four times the drink driving limit of alcohol in his body, plus cocaine.

Cricketer death ruled accidental

An inquest at Westminster Coroner's Court has returned a verdict of accidental death in the case of Cardiff-born cricketer Tom Maynard. Earlier it heard he was over the drink driving limit and tests suggest he may have used cocaine and ecstasy.
