Police have launched an investigation into the death of a woman in Barnet, who is believed to have been involved in a dispute with another motorist.
The woman, who is thought to be in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene on East Barnet Road at around 6:40pm on Monday evening.
A post-mortem examination is yet to take place but she had sustained head injuries.
Police say initial inquiries suggest that she had left her vehicle, and then been carried on the bonnet of another car, before falling and colliding with a Belisha beacon. The other vehicle then drove away.
Police have since arrested a woman at an address in Barnet in connection with the incident. She has been bailed pending further inquiries.
