"Why I handed him in" from Fast Eddie's daughter in law

The daughter in law of fugitive "Fast Eddie" has told ITV Daybreak that she handed him in to the US authorities because she feared for her life after finding out his real identity.

Eddie Maher - from South Woodham Ferrers in Essex - was jailed for five years on Tuesday, for stealing a security van containing £1.2 million in 1993.

He spent almost 20 years on the run in the US before being arrested after Jessica King - his son's ex-wife - told the authorities that he was a wanted man.
