The Barnet manager Edgar Davids gave a helping hand to a group of stranded fans on the M6 on Saturday. On the way back from their game at Accrington (in which Davids had been sent off), the team's bus passed a supporters' coach which had broken down.

A few minutes later, the team bus returned, picked the fans up and took them to a nearby service station where they could wait in the warm. Davids had told his players to get off the bus at the service station so it could go back to get the supporters.

The fans then got to meet and chat with the Barnet players before a replacement coach arrived to take the fans home.
