An animal charity based in north London says its seen a massive increase in the number of pets being abandoned.
Wood Green says it is now looking after 30 percent more stray and abandoned animals than a year ago.
The latest pet to be dumped at the centre is five-month-old cat Milo.
CCTV released by the charity shows the moment he was left on their doorstep, early in the morning last week, by a woman wearing a hooded coat.
Centre staff arrived an hour later to find the cat huddled in the corner of his carrier, cold and frightened.
