Two people have died following a police pursuit in Tottenham. It happened in the early hours of Friday morning, when police began chasing an Audi. The driver drove through a red light, and the car then clipped a van before colliding with a bridge on Seven Sisters Road.
Two of the car's passengers were seriously injured, and later died at the scene. Their identities have not yet been confirmed.
The driver was treated in hospital for minor injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified.
