The family of an Essex woman, who was left brain damaged after an accident at a hotel in Abu Dhabi, fear she will die unless they get the money needed to fund her treatment.
Natalie Creane was injured at the hotel in 2008 when a wooden panel fell on her head.
She has been awarded compensation but the amount is not enough to pay for her ongoing medical costs, which could run into millions, and she will appeal the settlement later this month.
