Boris Johnson wants London to become a magnet for the makers of blockbuster television shows. He is giving £750,000 over three years to help attract tens of millions of pounds' worth of TV production to the capital.

Mayor of London Boris Johnson has visited Ealing Studios to announce a £750,000 investment in London's creative industries. Scenes from hit ITV drama Downton Abbey are filmed at the studios as well as blockbuster films such as Bond.
