Audience members of the West End production of musical Billy Elliott were asked to vote on whether a song anticipating Margaret Thatcher's death should be included in the show just hours after her death.
The second act of the production, which is set during the miners' strike, starts with the song Merry Christmas Maggie Thatcher, the lyrics refer to celebrating the death of the former prime minister.
The majority of the audience voted to include the song in question, so the musical went ahead in full at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
Baroness Thatcher was honoured with a ceremonial funeral at St Paul's Cathedral in the presence of the Queen and dignitaries.
Historians Dr Roland Quinalt and Dr Eliza Filby give their views on how history will remember Thatcher less emotively than we do today.
