Kate Bush will be made a CBE by the Queen at Windsor Castle today. The Bexley-born star is being honoured for her services to music.

The musician, whose first hit Wuthering Heights topped the charts and instantly made her a star, was as famous for her videos and her often wild-eyed mime dancing as her voice.

Her albums and singles have graced the charts for more than 30 years but for much of that time she has retained a mysterious persona, rarely giving interviews.
