Boots are being polished and buttons are being buffed ahead of today's annual inspection of the Woolwich-based Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery (KTRHA).
The unit is responsible for firing royal and ceremonial salutes, and took centre stage at the funeral of Baroness Thatcher, bearing her coffin from St Clement Danes to St Pauls Cathedral.
