Strong smell forces Heathrow flight crew to wear oxygen masks

A captain and co-pilot were forced to put on oxygen masks as they were coming into land at Heathrow last year, after a strong smell in the cockpit and passenger cabin caused the co-pilot to feel dizzy .

A report by the Air Accidents Investigations Branch found "no explanation" for the odour or the symptoms experienced by the crew on the Lufthansa Airbus A321, which was carrying 139 passengers.
