Two men will appear in court later, after a plane travelling from Pakistan was diverted as it was about to land.

On Friday an RAF jet was scrambled to escort the Manchester-bound plane to Stansted Airport.

Essex Police say that taxi driver Tayyab Subhani, 30, and restaurant worker Mohammed Safdar, 41, both from Nelson in Lancashire, will appear at Chelmsford Magistrate Court.
