An elderly woman who died after being rescued from a fire in a flat on Deptford High Street has been named as 82-year-old Giuseppina Fazzani.
A murder investigation has been launched and a post-mortem has begun. Her next of kin has been informed.
Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after the driver was seriously injured in the crash in the early hours of Saturday.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been driven to St Mary's Hospital in London in the "early stages of labour", Kensington Palace has said.
