A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in East Ham.
Police were called at around 19:30hrs on Thursday, 13 June to reports of a man having been killed at an address in Burges Road, E6.
Officer and London Ambulance Service attended the address and found a man - believed aged 68 - suffering head injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and taken into custody at an east London police station where he remains.
The Homicide & Serious Crime Command is investigating.
