A new exhibition featuring portraits of refugees who were forced to flee their homes is set to open in St Martin in the Fields . "On Solid Ground" was commissioned by the International Rescue Committee.

An exhibition showingworld's worst humanitarian disasters opens at St Martin in the Fields today tomark World Refugee Day.

The show highlights the plight of families caught up in conflicts such as the war in Syria and refugees who had to flee natural disasters such as the flooding in Pakistan.
