Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a cyclist was left in a critical condition following a fail to stop collision in the Kensal Green area on Sunday.

Car recovered after Kensal Green cyclist hit and run

Police are hunting the driver of a stolen car which knocked down a cyclist in Kensal Green believe they have recovered the car involved.

It is understood that the 23-year-old man was cycling down Harrow Road towards Kensal Green, when the car collided with him.

The man who was in a critical condition was taken to a central London hospital suffering from head and arm injuries.

The car believed to be involved, a silver coloured Hyundai i30 registration number EO62 ZNT, was found abandoned outside a school on Monday morning, in Malvern Place. It had suffered extensive windscreen damage and had dents in the roof.

The car was reported to have been stolen from Portgate Close at some point after 11pm on June 29.
