185,000 affordable homes 'needed to avoid crisis'

There are warnings that London needs to build its way out of a housing crisis.

"Centrepoint", the charity for homeless people, says that the capital is facing a dire shortage of homes with rent at below market rates.

It claims the soultion is build 185,000 more properties over the next eight years.
