Thousands of guests attending the start of the four-day Coronation Festival starting today had to contend with road closures near Buckingham Palace caused by a burst water main.
The closures affected parts of Buckingham Gate, Birdcage Walk and Buckingham Palace Road, with some buses having to be diverted.
Transport for London advised road users to avoid the Victoria area if possible and said the problem could last for two days.
