Dasaolu produces stunning sprint

James Dasaolu produced a stunning run of 9.91 seconds to become the second fastest Briton of all time in the 100 metres semi-finals at the Sainsbury's British Championships in Birmingham this afternoon.

The 25-year-old went quicker than even Usain Bolt has managed this year to catapult himself into contention for a medal at next month's World Championships.Dasaolu's time was an Alexander Stadium record and former Olympic champion Linford Christie is the only Briton to have ever gone faster.
